Becki's Beat ...

Keep informed about the on goings of HOHF

Executive Director: Becki’s Beat

Our Foundation has been built on "Matters of the Heart", volunteerism, passion, creativity, sound principles, valued partnerships, perseverance, and work that we Love! Not by our own efforts, but only by God's might, a "Harvest of many Hearts" gets the work done. We are His ambassadors, who He has entrusted us, equipped us and directed me, for the good of His cause... to be His hands and feet. Because of the continued loyalty of our cherished contributors and volunteers, we have the privilege to do the work that we do so that the beat of this organization can continue to remain healthy.

SAVE THE DATE: SEPTEMBER 19, 2020 for our 12th fundraising event. We invite you to partner with us as HOHF is celebrating 20 years of Growing - Giving and Thriving. The night will be filled with gratefulness and bounty at a new venue: The Red Wood Cafe in Modesto, CA. It is sure to be an evening of great food, great wine, great beer and great fun...all for a great cause! More than 60% of our fundraising revenue is generated from our auctions. To donate a vacation home, trip, or items, etc. we would love to hear from you. Please email Jeanna Hoff at Jeannalhoff@gmail.com to donate.

We continue to value our partnerships...

In-house Grants are used to help cover gas, food and hotel night stays, etc. while children are having surgery or going to and from Doctor appointments outside of our community. 4 families were given In-house grants in 2019. Our long term partner: Tracy Family Resource Center (CPFSJ) also continues to administer several grants annually to assist children in health crisis on our behalf.

One of our goals is to extend a helping hand and a loving heart to our local families at a time of crisis when a Mom or Dad is feeling exhausted emotionally due to the condition of their child.

With Sutter Tracy Community Hospital and Premier Hyundai of Tracy, to date, an estimated 170 bags have been delivered to our local Tracy hospital, to bless hundreds of families whose children are being treated at the hospital.

HOHF is excited to support partner Camp Taylor, Inc. and its programs for children with heart diseased and for their families, at their new camp loacation in Grayson, CA. HOHF has committed $50k, specifically for naming rights for the creation of a beautiful Memorial Water Garden where kids will have the opportunity to journal during gheir camp experience. HOHF has gifted Camp Taylor $212,615 to date.
